Quality Made in Germany
Amazing that originally was not a quality seal "Made in Germany", quite the opposite. Britain had the designation introduced in 1887 with the "Merchandise Marks Act" to protect British companies from cheaper and inferior alleged competition from Germany. But instead of German products kept away from the UK market, the seal was soon regarded as a guarantee of quality and reliability.
Following this strategy for the Merkle Welding Equipment GmbH for 50 years now. Almost all machine and burner parts are manufactured in-house milling and turning shop.
